The iPhone 16E puts Apple at the top of sales for the first time.

On January 9, 2007, Steve Jobs, one of Apple’s founders, unveiled the first iPhone in history. The event, held at the Macworld convention in San Francisco, would become one of the world’s most influential technological revolutions and the beginning of a prestigious and high-quality brand.

Apple’s first smartphone was followed by the 3G, 4, 4s, 5, 6, 6 Plus, 7, 8, X, Xr, Xs, 11, 11 Pro, 12, 12 Mini, 13, 13 Pro Max, 14, 14 Plus, 15, 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, and 16E models. The latter was the American company’s second attempt, after the mini versions, to gain a place in the segment between premium lines and mid-range devices.

As for the iPhone mini, they were sold at a lower price than the original models. However, that wasn’t enough to take significant market share from other brands like Samsung. Despite having the latest processor, its screen size and battery life condemned it to being relegated to the market.
