The measure, which applies to all products entering the country or leaving warehouses starting April 5, represents a respite for technology companies like Apple, Microsoft, and Nvidia, which rely heavily on manufacturing in Asia, especially China.

Apple, one of the biggest beneficiaries
Apple was among the companies most affected by Trump’s recent trade policy. The new tariffs, which imposed a minimum rate of 145% on Chinese products, threatened to significantly increase the price of its devices.
