Nvidia reveals Nintendo Switch 2’s technological weapons: Ray Tracing, DLSS, and a power that “exceeds Switch 10 times”

On April 2nd, Nintendo’s next-generation Switch 2 console was unveiled in all its splendor. It’s not only larger and more powerful, but will also feature NVIDIA technologies like DLSS and Ray Tracing. Although the Japanese company didn’t mention this at its event, the GPU creator did mention it on its blog.
NVIDIA’s website details how the processor used for this hybrid console will have the tools to upscale lower-resolution images in real time, while simultaneously achieving improved performance and quality, as well as ray-traced lighting. This is possible thanks to the GPU’s RT Cores and Tensor Cores, “dedicated to delivering stunning visuals and AI-driven enhancements.”
